One of the oldest churches in Cambridge, MA opens its front doors to visitors for the first time since its founding in 1636.
The Cambridge Art Association’s National Prize show will run from May 13 through June 26, 2014, at both the Kathryn Schultz Gallery (25 Lowell Street, Cambridge) and the University Place Gallery (124 Mt Auburn Street, Cambridge). An opening reception will be held on Friday, May 16, 6-8pm, in both galleries.
A new edition of Anita Harris’ book, Broken Patterns, has been published by Cambridge Common Press. The book, tells stories of women in male-dominated professions–and places these groundbreaking women, along with their mothers and grandmothers, in historical context. The book offers insight into issues faced by modern career women and perspective on the debate surrounding Sheryl Sandberg’s Lean In.
